Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) on Sun Protection, Projection Technology, and Automation
Help Section Sun Protection
Frequently asked questions about awnings and sun protection technology from Motorline, the renowned European manufacturer from Portugal. A large proportion of the awnings marketed by the former supplier Exclusiv-Home in the 2010s were also manufactured by Motorline, which is why we can supply all vital spare parts for the popular awning models EH6100, EH6400, and EH7100, including those for the lamellar and conservatory awnings. These awnings are still offered today under the labels COFRE 260, COFRE 600, and COFRE 260 VOLANTE, with virtually identical construction.
The former awning supplier Exclusiv-Home marketed Motorline awnings under the names EH6100, EH6400 and EH7100 more than 15 years ago, and a video from that time still exists showing the replacement of the awning motor.
Since these model series (EH6100 corresponds to COFRE 260, EH6400 corresponds to COFRE 600 and EH7100 corresponds to COFRE 260 VOLANTE) are still offered by the manufacturer Motorline today, the video is still current.
Many years ago, Exclusiv-Home, in collaboration with Motorline, produced a video demonstrating the step-by-step replacement of the folding arms on an EH6100 awning. Since this awning model continues to be manufactured by Motorline under the label COFRE 260, the replacement arms currently offered remain compatible (for the EH6100 and EH6400 models, only the folding arm mounts are additionally required), and the video remains relevant.
To ensure the proper functioning of the awning, the folding arms are available only in pairs via the following links: EH6100/COFRE260, EH7100/COFRE260 VOLANTE, EH6400/COFRE600.
Motorline has published a video about replacing an awning fabric. Since the Portuguese manufacturer also produced the EH6100, EH6400, and EH7100 awning models, the procedure described in the video also applies to awnings from Exclusiv-Home, with the exception of the model Luxury with integrated lighting in the folding arms, which was an import from the Far East.
Individually handcrafted replacement fabrics and valances, made in a German master workshop, are available via the following link.
Below, you will find a simple video in which we look over the shoulder of a Motorline technician as he installs the pull cable in Portugal. Furthermore, a detailed, illustrated guide on the pull cable routing is available for download.
In addition to the pull cable, replacement motors, guide pulleys, and cable guides are also available. When replacing the motor, please note that the side cap with the motor mount is also required, as the successor motor model TUB90M8MT no longer fits into the previously installed motor mount.
Help Section Projection Technology
Nowadays, projectors and projection screens no longer hold the same significance they did just a few years ago, and as a result, the range of available products is steadily shrinking. We have streamlined our own product portfolio as well; nevertheless, we strive to continue providing spare parts and accessories for previously listed products and to offer support for them to the best of our ability. Below, you will find a selection of frequently asked questions; please do not hesitate to contact us if you require further information regarding current or discontinued products from our company.
The PRO series motorized projection screens (format 21:9, 16:9, 4:3 and 1:1) from VISIVO were supplied with a rechargeable wireless remote control. This was replaced during technical development by a compatible remote control, which is powered by two 1.5V (AAA standard) batteries.
A new replacement remote control does not work automatically and must be programmed to the existing screen. The pairing process has changed with the introduction of the new remote control and is carried out in the following steps.
- Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control and insert two AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity.
- On the right side of the screen (when viewed from the front), there is a small black push button labeled "MANUAL / LEARN KEY".
- Press this button until the screen responds by briefly extending and retracting the screen material.
- Immediately afterward (within approximately 10 seconds of pressing the learn button on the projection screen), press the button on the remote control located to the left above the open battery compartment on the back of the remote control. Press and hold this button until the screen confirms successful synchronization with another brief extension and retraction.
- After successful synchronization, the projection screen can be opened, stopped, and closed using the remote control. If the screen does not respond to the control commands, repeat steps 2 through 4.
